Obituary

Kathryn Lea Wilson was born on August 13, 1948 in Fallon , NV and left this world on September 14, 2008 at the age of 60 in Reno , NV . She was preceded in death by her parents and step parents, Jerry Wilson (and Dorothy Cline), June Taylor Machado (Larry Machado);  her brothers, Dwight and Carl Wilson. She is survived by her sister Penny Thill (Carol Bowden), and sister-in-law, Deb bie Wilson, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and cats. Kathi obtained her teaching degree at UNR and taught for many years in both Schurz and Fallon , NV . She worked with the American Cancer Society and enjoyed a brief career as a travel agent and a book store owner (The Book Barn). She took loving care of her grandmother, Lucy Melendy, for a number of years.  She was an avid bird watcher and animal lover.   She enjoyed exploring her families genealogy and spent many hours putting it all together.  She will be remembered for the smiles, her quips and the uniqueness she gave to our family.  She truly was one of a kind.
